Karthik Rajaram

Chairman

Mr. Karthik Rajaram is a distinguished business leader with over three decades of experience spanning real estate, marketing, sales and business strategy. As Chairman of Abhinandan Ventures, he brings exceptional depth of experience, sound business judgement and a rare breadth of perspective to the leadership of its diverse portfolio. His deep understanding of markets, businesses and the strategic decisions that shape their growth and future forms the foundation of his approach to building enduring enterprises.

A defining feature of Karthik’s leadership is his ability to apply insights and best practices from one industry to another. At Xanadu Realty, which he co-founded and led as Managing Director, he championed the application of FMCG marketing, sales and distribution principles to the real estate sector, placing the customer at the centre of business strategy. By integrating consumer insights, technology and commercial rigour, he helped drive a shift towards a more customer-oriented approach to a traditionally developer-led sector.

Prior to co-founding Xanadu Realty, Karthik held senior leadership positions at Maruti Udyog Limited and at the Times of India Group amongst other reputed organisations. His experience across real estate, media, automobile, retail and technology sectors has equipped him with a broad perspective on markets, consumer behaviour, brand building and the drivers of business performance.

An alumnus of Vellore Institute of Technology, Karthik achieved his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering in the year 1990. He then went on to complete his Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the illustrious Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. Karthik is widely recognised as one of the most distinguished and accomplished business leaders in the Real Estate industry. His influence on the sector is reflected in the fact that several marketing and sales teams at leading developers across Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru are led by professionals mentored by him.

At Abhinandan Ventures, Karthik draws on his extensive experience to build strong, scalable businesses through customer-centric strategies, disciplined execution and differentiated business models. His long-term approach emphasises not only identifying opportunities but also developing the capabilities and operational foundations necessary for sustainable growth.

PRITAM BISHT

Group Head – Strategy, Incubation & Transformation

Pritam has over 15 years of experience in the real estate industry which he spent championing multifarious roles spanning Business Development, Marketing, Business Strategy and Consulting.

He was the founder-member of Xanadu Realty and has also used his deep expertise of luxury brands and consumer dynamics.

He specialises in deal structuring, product management, brand management, new product development, communication development, process improvement, business development, and marketing and advertising.

ASHOKKUMAR TIWARI

Group Finance Controller

Ashok is a highly experienced and qualified CA with nearly two decades of experience in accounts and finance, particularly in the Venture capital, Real estate, NBFC, and Edu-tech sectors. He has a proven track record of driving cost optimization, process improvement initiatives, strengthening controls, and automating processes.

Ashok is passionate about helping startups and small businesses succeed. He has a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities facing these businesses, and he is skilled at providing the financial and operational support they need to grow. At Abhinandan Ventures, he is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the firm, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, accounting, and reporting.

KIRAN PRASAD IVATURI (IK)

Group Chief Human Resource Officer

Kiran, affectionately known as IK, is a dedicated HR professional renowned for enhancing business value and fostering fulfilling employee careers. Armed with a Master’s in Human Resources from IMT-Ghaziabad, and a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from GEC, JNTU – Hyderabad, IK embodies a blend of strategic insight and technical prowess.

With about two decades of experience, his proficiency spans HR strategy, business partnership, organisational development, talent management, acquisition, employee engagement, rewards, and operations. His versatile background encompasses FMCG, pharma, and telecom sectors, showcasing adeptness in dynamic, high-paced settings requiring exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills.

ARAVIND BALAJEE

Group Head – Legal & Compliance

Aravind is a highly-experienced lawyer with expertise on M&A and financing transactions, disputes, commercial contracts, and compliance.

He has diverse work experience across industries and geographies, including the Adani Group & the Tata Group, and at eminent law firms in India, New York, and Singapore.

He has a master’s degree in law from Harvard Law School and a law degree from NLSIU, Bengaluru, from where he graduated with two gold medals.

SANDEEP SAXENA

Chief Investment Officer

A seasoned finance professional with a career spanning over 30 years, Sandeep has been a part of marquee companies such as A.F. Ferguson & Co (erstwhile Deloitte) and Jet Airways.

In these esteemed organisations, he has held various stints across functions and has many achievements to his name.

Sandeep has also won accolades for his outstanding role in key fund-raising rounds, foreign exchange risk management, financial accounting, taxes, and treasury.

MAHESH SHAH

President – Corporate Communications

With nearly four decades of experience in corporate communications, Mahesh has been a part of the phenomenal success story of HDFC Ltd and all its Group Companies.

Over the course of his distinguished 38-year career, he has been a trailblazer in Media Relations and oversaw various aspects of Corporate Communications, including Content Development, Brand Communications, Advertising, Media Planning & Buying, Direct Marketing, Events, Market Research, Print Production, and Promotional & Marketing support for HDFC and all its Group companies.

RANJANA SABOO

Group Head – Company Secretariate

Ranjana is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience as an in-house counsel, specializing in statutory compliance, secretarial functions, and corporate governance. She has a proven track record of building legal and compliance departments from the ground up for iconic brands such as Tata Starbucks and Burger King India. Throughout her career, she has been a trusted advisor to executive management, instrumental in strengthening governance frameworks and navigating complex regulatory environments.

Prior to joining Abhinandan Ventures, Ranjana held senior leadership roles at More Retail, Burger King India, and Tata Starbucks. Her expertise includes managing high-stakes litigation, commercial negotiations, and leading IPO readiness. She holds an LL.B. degree from University of Mumbai, a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Sarojini Naidu Government Girls Post Graduate College, Bhopal and is also a qualified Company Secretary.
